When you visit our office, be prepared to join in the fun by participating in one of our many contests. We have a new contest every 8-10 weeks and everyone, young & old, is invited to join in! Past contests include: "My mom is the best because…" essay contest, guess what's in the box, pick the parents or pets of our employees, great oral hygiene, how many items in the jar, etc… Some of the prized have included Broncos and Rockies tickets, gift certificates to Blockbuster, Media Play, Movies, Butterfly Pavilion, Miniature Golf, Cold Stone Ice Cream, and more.

One of our most popular contests was to "pick the nose" of each employee. We had plaster noses of each one of us and you had to match the nose to a picture of the employee it belonged to. The ten patients that had the most correct matches were invited to a Rockies game along with 3 guests. Snacks were provided and the Rockies even won! Our entire staff and their families were present as well. We had a total of 70 people rooting for the Rockies!!

Our "Pick your nose" contest winners were: From our Lakewood Office - Sydney, Nathan, Matt, Ben, and Kathleen, and from our Littleton office - Taylor,ren, Tiaisha, and Garret. Congratulations!

July 2004 - The smell of the ocean, the taste of fresh pineapple, and the soothing music from the tropics. Sound good? Our office spent a week in Hawaii...actually we were still in our office, but we celebrated a week in Hawaii with games, food, contests, and our team was even dressed up in Hawaiian clothes, including grass skirts! Our patients enjoyed our trip to the tropics so much that we are considering doing it every year.

Our Summer 2004 contest had all of our patients sending us postcards from all over the world. We had several categories including, the closest, the farthest, the cutest, the funniest, and the most original. The winners included messages sent in a bottle, postcards from Europe, and one card came from our own office???? It was great fun checking our mail everyday to see where our patients had traveled to.

It was August 2004 and time to go back to school. What better way to prepare our patients than to have a U.S. map contest. Our patients had to name all of the states, the problem was, we had so many entries that had 100%, we had to hold a drawing to pick the winners! We were so impressed! 1st place went to Kenzie F. and Wesley N., 2nd place went to Gabrielle C. and Landon L., and 3rd place went to Kevin H. and Destinee R. They all won gift certificates to Borders. Congratulations!

Our most recent contest, Winter 2004/2005, was one of the hardest ones yet. We had pictures of our teams pets and our patients had to match the pet with their owners. Can you believe it, one person actually got all of them right! Way to go Madison P.! The winners of this contest won gift certificates to PetsMart. I hope mom will be OK when the winners bring home a fish! The winners were Madison P., Karl H., Kindra S., Hailey K., Kaitee A., and Drew E.

We have a new yearly contest that will soon become a Dr. Duryea office tradition.  Each year we will ask our patients to help design our calendar by submitting their own art work.  Twelve pictures will be chosen to be on a page of our calendar.  The winners will receive 5 calendars and a $25.00 gift certificate.  We have some very talented patients!  Please stop buy our office to receive one free calendar and watch for next years entry form and dates.
